When it comes down to farms in Ct, Commercial Farms are the first to come to mind, which are 0% owned by any farmers of color that being said we need to highlight ourselves to draw in customers, drive sales, and build communities.
As well as to encourage others to start farming as a career or means of living geared more towards “the youth”
Without working capital, farms cannot reinvest in their crops. Farmers are then not able to pay out their employees, nor will they invest in new and reliable equipment. Farms are an industry in which having money leads to making money, and not having money makes it impossible to continue generating revenue.
Capital formation through investment in agriculture helps in improving the stock of equipment, tools and productivity of natural resources, which, in turn, enables the farmers to use their resources, particularly land and labor, more productively.
North Star Carver was Created to fill a void needed in our CT area and upon evaluating and building our network we started to notice we as farmers all face the same issues.
